Hejsan,<br><br>Jag har skickat in en blankett enligt era tips med alla uppgifter kring vårt försenade flyg från Stockholm till Manchester via Amsterdam. Vi skulle landa på eftermiddagen och landad istället väldigt sent på kvällen vilket gjorde att vi tappade en halv dag i Liverpool och sista tåget gått så vi fick åka taxi.<br>Vi har fått svaret att vi endast fått ersättning för vissa utlägg och inte det skadestånd jag fattat att man är berättigad till i dessa fall.<br><br>De hänvisar till att det regnade och var lite åska i Amsterdam när flyget vi skulle åka med var på väg till Arlanda och att det därför blev försenat. Borde inte anses som extremt väder. I am sure it was frustrating to be rebooked on Lufthansa via Frankfurt instead, arriving at Manchester at 22:10 that evening.<br><br>We understand how inconvenient delays can be, so we do all we can to limit them.<br><br>Sometimes, severe weather causes unavoidable flight delays and cancellations. In these situations, we do all we can to keep our passengers informed and help them arrive at their destinations as soon as possible by arranging alternative flights or making alternative travel plans.<br><br>Our records confirm that flight KL 1110 Stockholm ARN - Amsterdam AMS on 9 December 2017 was delayed due to the late arrival of the incoming flight KL 1109 Amsterdam AMS - Stockholm ARN caused by Air Traffic Control restrictions at Amsterdam airport due to weather (cloudy with scattered showers and thunderstorms with the possibility of a wintery mix).<br><br>I understand that you incurred additional expenses for food and drinks when your flight was delayed. We will reimburse you for those expenses (excluding alcoholic drinks).<br><br>I have therefore organised a payment for EUR 80,90 (plus EUR 10 to cover any foreign payments fees).<br><br>We cannot reimburse the taxi ride from Manchester to Liverpool as our contract of transport only included your journey up to Manchester and was fulfilled with the rebooking on the Lufthansa flights.<br><br>You have my assurance that the situation you have experienced was exceptional. As a result of this communication, I certainly hope that you will feel able to choose us again in the future for your travel needs.
